This wall light mounts above the headboard and has two parts: a slim arm with a focused LED spot that rotates to point exactly where you are reading, and a flat panel that glows softly against the wall behind it. Each has its own switch on the fitting, so you can use the reading spot, the ambient glow or both. It is the same set-up you find in many hotel rooms, and it frees the bedside table entirely.

Why this reading light suits a shared bedroom

Rotating spot arm: aim a narrow beam onto your book or tablet while the other side of the bed stays dark.

Backlit panel: a soft wash of light on the wall for winding down before sleep.

Two switches: spot and backlight work independently, right on the fitting.

Wall mounted: clears the bedside table of a bulky lamp.

Two finishes: white to disappear on a pale wall, black for a crisp contrast.

Specifications

Product type: LED bedside reading wall light

Materials: aluminium, plastic

Dimensions: approx. 12 × 6 in (30 × 15 cm)

Power: mains powered, hardwired

Light source: integrated LED, 5 W

Colours: white, black

Mounting: wall mounted

Use: bedrooms, guest rooms, reading corners

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1068/9026/4921/files/bedside-reading-wall-light-rotating-spot-arm-backlit-panel-t-1.jpg?v=1791469611
https://oakmerrow.com/products/bedside-reading-wall-light-rotating-spot-arm-backlit-panel-two-switches
