A storm glass does not: the sealed liquid inside the globe forms clear spells, fine feathers or a thick white cloud of crystals as temperature and conditions shift, so there is always something new to look at. The globe sits in a tilted holder like a small world globe, with a stoppered neck that keeps the liquid sealed. Choose a curved pine stand for a warmer look or a fully glass stand that almost disappears against the wall.

What makes this storm glass worth a place on the desk

Living crystal patterns: the contents never settle into one fixed look, which makes it a talking point in a study or living room.

Globe-style holder: the sphere is held at an angle in a crescent frame, so it reads as a decorative object rather than a lab instrument.

Two stand designs: natural pine with a round base, or clear glass for a lighter, more minimal shelf.

Sealed glass sphere: nothing to fill, power or set up; place it and leave it.

Compact footprint: small enough for a bedside table, mantelpiece or office desk.

Specifications

Product type: decorative storm glass on a stand

Materials: glass globe; pine or glass stand

Dimensions: approx. 5.5 × 8.3 in (14 × 21 cm)

Designs: wooden stand, glass stand

Use: indoors, away from direct sunlight and radiators

Care: dust with a dry cloth; do not shake or open the globe

In the box: storm glass globe, stand

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1068/9026/4921/files/storm-glass-weather-station-crystal-filled-globe-pine-or-gla-1.jpg?v=1791464691
https://oakmerrow.com/products/storm-glass-weather-station-crystal-filled-globe-pine-or-glass-stand-desk-decor
