Hanging Wooden Bird House – multi-room cottage design, rustic burnt wood finish

A little wooden village for the tits and robins in your garden.

A plain nest box does the job but rarely adds anything to the view from the kitchen window. This bird house is built as a cluster of small cottages with pitched roofs, each with its own round entrance, so it looks charming on a tree trunk or fence even outside nesting season. The wood has a torched, rustic finish that brings out the grain and weathers naturally outdoors. Hang it from a branch, a bracket or a pergola where you can watch the comings and goings.

Why this bird house brightens a British garden

• Several entrances: multiple round holes and compartments give small birds a choice of shelter.
• Cottage design: pitched roofs and overhangs shed rain away from the openings.
• Rustic burnt wood: a warm, charred-grain finish that suits cottage and wildlife gardens.
• Hanging loop: hang it from a tree, bracket or pergola at a safe height from cats.
• Garden decoration: looks good all year, whether occupied or not.
