Travertine Ceiling Light – compact drum shade, wooden top, flush mounted

A small piece of stone on the ceiling that softens a plain hallway.

Recessed spotlights and white plastic fittings make a corridor feel like an office. This compact ceiling light uses a short drum of natural travertine with a wooden cap, so even switched off it adds texture and warmth. The stone has its own pores and colour shifts, which means no two lights look exactly alike. Its small size suits hallways, landings, walk-in wardrobes and bedside corners where a full ceiling fitting would feel too big.

Why travertine and wood work so well together

• Natural travertine shade: each piece has its own grain and pattern.
• Wooden canopy: light wood to match floors and furniture.
• Compact size: fits narrow hallways and small rooms.
• Flush mounted: sits tight to the ceiling for low rooms.
• Soft downlight: a calm, focused pool of light rather than a glaring spot.
