A softly glowing orb that changes colour with one press of the remote.

Overhead lights are too harsh for a film night or a late dinner, and candles need watching. This lamp is a smooth, frosted sphere that lights up evenly all over, from warm white for reading in bed to red, green or blue when you want a playful mood. It has no shade or visible bulb, just a simple ball of light that you can carry from a bedside table to a dining table or a shelf. The remote lets you switch colours without getting up.

Why the glowing ball lamp is so easy to place

16 colours: pick a calm white or a bold colour to match the moment.
Remote control: change the colour from across the room.
Portable sphere: move it between bedroom, living room and dining table.
Even, frosted glow: the matt shell spreads the light softly with no glare.
Two sizes: 6 in (15 cm) for a nightstand or 8 in (20 cm) as a table centrepiece.
