Product description
A retro mushroom lamp with a petal shade that glows like a soft lantern.
A plain bedside lamp lights the room but adds nothing to it. This design borrows from 1960s Italian lighting: a shade made of four rounded opal petals sits on a polished, telescopic steel stem rising from a flared, glossy base. When it is on, the petals diffuse the light into an even, warm glow; when it is off, the lamp still stands out as a sculptural piece on a sideboard, desk or bedside table. Choose a crisp white base or a deep black one.
What makes this mushroom lamp a design piece
- Petal opal shade: four curved segments spread the light softly with no harsh glare.
- Telescopic stem: slide the steel stem up or down to change the height of the lamp.
- Flared glossy base: a stable, weighted foot with a mirror-like finish.
- Retro silhouette: a mid-century shape that suits both vintage and modern rooms.
- Two colourways: white for a light, airy look or black for stronger contrast.
